All the fun begins each year in June at the Lewistown Municipal Airport's Annual Fly-In. Hosted by the Central Montana Pilot's Association, the fly-in is held from 7am to 12noon and is free and open to the public.
Planes fly-in from around the state and are on display for the morning. A community pancake, sausage and egg breakfast is served from 7 to 11 am, activities and displays vary from year to year and may include restored vintage planes by Montana Antique Airplane Association, Border Patrol Helicopter, Experimental Planes, Smokey Bear, and much more! A Flag Ceremony and National Anthem begin the show, followed by an awards presentation.
