Machler Trail

Take Machler Trail for a nice one mile walk adjacent to lower Big Spring Creek. This rustic trail starts at the Machler Fishing Access Site (FAS) on the north side of Lewistown off of Highway 191 and crosses both Breed Creek and Big Spring Creek on recently installed bridges. At the upper end, the trail continues across the Lazy KB FAS to the Creekside Pavilion about one-half mile away. On the lower end, keep wandering downstream to the Carroll Trail FAS.
